60 Albums 1995

60 albums from 1995. This was another year that a bunch of great albums didn't quickly rise to the top of my list.  There were plenty of good albums but I wasn't really blown away by much in 1995. I went with Chris Isaak because that album got a lot of play from me immediately and has continued through the years. A few others here like the Emmylou Harris and the Wondermints grew on me intensely over the years.

60 Albums 1994

60 favorite albums from my collection for 1994. This was a little more difficult list. It really wasn't a great year for music in my opinion. I think that most of the top ten are interchangeable. Nothing really stood out. Many of these albums I came to like more over the years but there wasn't a whole lot here I ran out and got when they were released.

I was working at the downtown public library and had daily access to their fabulous CD collection. I was constantly bringing home new music. I was also making lots of mixes during this time. I was filling in my collection of albums I'd missed over the years as many of the albums on this list were I actually added in subsequent years.

This was also the time when I started learning more about music on the Internet for the first time. Of course the world wide web wasn't really happening yet but I was on the music discussion boards that were popping up around the net and in particular on the Buffalo Free-Net.
