Still not 60 yet but here is another list of 60 favorite albums from my collection released in 1990.For me this was not a particular good year in music but of course I was also distracted with young kids. Sean was just a just a year old. I was still recovering from brain surgery and going to grad school. I wasn't going out to listen to a lot of music and buying tons of CDs. We didn't have the internet quite yet although I was going online for the first time back then and discovering some music forums. Many of the albums on this list I acquired later.
The top of my list was something that hit me right away. The La's album is one of my favorite all time albums and the song There She Goes is a stone classic. I recently got the deluxe version of this album with three differently produced versions of each song and of course I had to have the La's BBC sessions album too. An awful lot of product for a band with one album even if the leader was an obsessive perfectionist.
